Audi Sailing Series Melges 20 Portoferraio

The third event of the Audi Sailing Series Melges 20 took place in Portoferraio on the 8th and 9th of June. The victory after five races sailed went to Alessandro Rombelli's Stig (20 points). In second place with 27 points Legionario (Giancarlo Capolino), in third position Out of Reach (owner/driver Guido Miani, crew Gabriele Benussi and Nevio Sabadin) with 31 points.
A fleet of 23 boats, from 5 countries, went up on the start line of Portoferraio for the Act 3 of the Audi Sailing Series Melges 20. The weather condition with a very shifty wind, between 10 and 15 knots, made difficult the job for tacticians and crews alike.
Due to the results of the Portoferraio's stage, after 3 avents the 2013 Audi Sailing Series Melges 20 overall ranking shows Guido Miani's Out of Reach at the first place, followed by Stig and Mascalzone Latino Jr.
Out of Reach sailed with a full inventory of OneSails sails. Congratulations to all the Out of Reach crew by the OneSails staff.
