Fantastica third at the Melges 32 East Coast Championship USA

Another international podium for Fantastica Sailing Team at the second round of the 2012 season. The Melges 32 Fantastica owned by Lanfranco Cirillo, with a set of OneSails Millenium High Modulus Carbon sails, finished third at the Melges 32 East Coast Championship, held by the Sailfish Club of Florida, and hosted at the Rybovich Marina in West Palm Beach.
Eight races in a racecourse that has proved very difficult for the insidious current and shifty winds. Sixteenboats entered, with a clear prevalence of U.S. crews.
At the end, success went to the American Ryan DeVos on Volpe, who ranked second tied up with another U.S. ship, Argo, owned by Jason Carroll. The third place and bronze medal went to Fantastica that has defended with honour the Italian colours.
